Each day, Pharmacy Technicians have a hand in advancing lives, that's why Webster College is proud to announce our new Pharmacy Technician Associates degree program. Our program is designed to give you the tools you need to become successful as a Pharmacy Technician. In just two years, you can be on your way to working in retail, hospital, mail order or long-term care pharmacies and helping people live healthier lives.
Graduates of the Pharmacy Technician program learn theory and practical application of current pharmacy practice. They can effectively fill prescriptions and interpret important pharmacological information. In addition to have knowledge of medical terminology, medical law and ethics, and pharmacy mathematics and are prepared for exciting opportunities in the pharmacy industry.
Pharmacy Technicians are the "right hand" of Pharmacists. A graduate of the Webster College Pharmacy Technician program will be able to work alongside pharmacists, interpreting prescriptions, counting medications and working with customers.
Pharmacy Technicians can work: in retail store, in in-patient or out-patient hospital, in a clinical pharmacy, mail-order pharmacy advisor, pharmacy supervisor and Pharmacy Technician teacher.
