University of Oklahoma, Health Sciences Center (College of Pharmacy)

The Henry D. and Ida Mosier Pharmacy Building, a 75,000 square-foot facility, is well designed and equipped for contemporary pharmacy education, graduate education and research in the pharmaceutical sciences, and continuing professional education. Beginning Fall 2002, the College expanded the professional program to the recently acquired Schusterman Health Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Students in both Oklahoma City and Tulsa complete the same curriculum using a number of educational technologies and distance education methods. The Schusterman Center offers over 20,000 square-feet of space within one wing of the center and provides educational opportunities to medical, nursing, allied health and a number of other disciplines. The College encourages active involvement in student professional organizations such as the Academy of Students of Pharmacy, Student National Pharmaceutical Association, Oklahoma Pharmacists Association and Oklahoma Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists, National Community Pharmacists Association, and American Society of Consultant Pharmacists
