Lincoln Technical Institute 1




Pharmacy Technician Training includes understanding the rules and regulations of pharmacology, mixing and preparing medications, monitoring inventory, filling out insurance claims and working with patient charts. You'll also get classroom instruction, practical lab-work and a clinical "externship" for real-world experience.

Pharmacy technicians assist licensed pharmacists provide medication and other health care products to patients. Technicians usually perform routine tasks to help prepare prescribed medication for patients, such as counting tablets and labeling bottles. Technicians refer any questions regarding prescriptions, drug information, or health matters to a pharmacist.
