Northeastern Ohio Universities (College of Pharmacy)

The Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Pharmacy (NEOUCOP) has answered this call by developing an innovative educational experience for our pharmacy students. Our groundbreaking curriculum allows pharmacy and medical students from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) to learn side-by-side and to foster the close working relationships needed in clinical and community settings. Studies have shown that well-functioning teams improve patient outcomes and reduce medical errors—and skilled pharmacists are an integral part of health care teams. Since practitioners are expected to work together in clinical settings, fostering good teamwork and communication skills from the very moment professionals begin training is vitally important.
